Pilot Part Shipping Authorization
Key Points
The Pilot Part Shipping Authorization (PPSA) is a document that affirms the ability of the supplier to deliver products that meet NMEX requirements during each trial (VC-LOT,ET,PT1,PT2) before SOP.
The Pilot Part Shipping Authorization (PPSA) is a summary document and should be accompanied by the documents required by NMEX. The supplier will agree these documents with NMEX prior to submission of the PPSA in order to ship material by supplier during each Trial Lot.
Minimum Content Requirements
A separate PPSA shall be raised for:
- Each new Design Change of part numbers relating to a part family.
- Each supplier plant location.
A new PPSA shall be raised following the introduction and delivery of the parts before each trial previous confirmation & signed off by NMEX PQE.

| 13 | Control Plan Reference / Version | The reference and the valid issue level of the Control Plan used to produce and control the parts. |

| 15 | Weight | The average weight of five parts in kilograms. |
